“Winds of Emergence” is the first UDCT™ (Unique Digital Commemorative Token) collection, commemorating human collaboration through the artistry of sailing, design, and ancient cartography. Each piece merges Jan Pehrson’s original America’s Cup photography with conceptual design by Karen Earle Lile, layered over an Antonio Zatta 1777 world map.

Bahamian Artist Charles Thompson: After studying fine art in New York City, Charles returned to his home in Abaco, Bahamas and produced paintings with Bahamian themes. This one is of B-Class Bahamian Wooden Racing Sloop Lonesome Dove racing in the 2025 Best of the Best Regatta in Nassau, and is derived from the photograph of Jan Pehrson. Artist Thompson, working in oils, “Bahamianized” Pehrson’s photo to make it POP! and show off the colors and light of the Bahamas.
